Beginning of the Quest
I started my entrepreneurship journey daydreaming while listening to a college professor's speech.
After completing my master's in business finance, I worked with one of the leading capital market companies providing securities and derivative broking services. Later, Satya built two ventures in manufacturing and luxury retail, generating $10M in ARR and a 9.4 Customer Satisfaction Index.
The Narrative Of My Journey
The journey began in 2018, when Satya embarked on a global adventure. In the streets of Singapore near a historical riverside, Clarke Quay, he felt a quest to experience a seamless dining journey.
The defining moment came, and to solve this problem, he left the family's 40-year-old legacy manufacturing business and started building an app to realize his vision. However, he faced failure. A series of catastrophic events left him completely devastated, one by one. With his mother's support and the sale of their house, he regrouped.
Building a missionary team and advised by Sangeet Paul Choudary, the platform economics leader, his team reimagined the solution, and a transformative idea was born: replacing conventional table lamps in luxury restaurants with LUMERIE™, the Intelligence OS™.
This innovation harnesses the power of data within a connected, intelligent ecosystem, improving workflows to deliver Intelligent Care™ to guests and to improve efficiency across every aspect of restaurant operations.
To this day, he continues living a purposeful life through intentional actions.
